Welcome to another hour of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / remix and an emphasis on GLBTIQ artists.

This week we’re having a 2-hour sessions as John Von Ahlen’s Neon Nights is over in Europe for a couple of weeks, probably at Depeche Mode’s live concert as we speak. So more opportunity to have some extra fun.

My Song Of The Week is “Remember Me” by Jennifer Hudson. Such a great diva performance, cos she certainly has the voice for it, and yes, we do remember her. Her career was interrupted by a family tragedy, and doesn’t seem to have hit the hieights before. So here’s hoping this track is the start of something great. Her performance on the UK Voice below is spine-tingling, that voice is still amazing.

What I’ve seen this week …

FILM : Rules Don’t Apply : Eccentric film based around eccentric movie producer, airline magnate Howard Hughes. The film was written and produced by Warren Beatty who also stars as Howard Hughes. The love story between a Hughes starlet and the chauffeur is a charming subplot, as Hughes’ behaviour becomes more eccentric. A bizarre but fascinating movie, similar in period and style to La La Land, but without the music.

Ahhhhhhh, cute !!!!

FILM : Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 : Lit you saw the first film, then this is more of the same, but with more space fights and action sequences. It’s also quite a long film, but the humour is good, and the value of family messages are lovely. Plus Chris Pratt is good to look at (see above).
