My Song Of The Week – Chanel by Frank Ocean. I’m still trying to make up mind about this tack, it’s been so long since his last official release (I didn’t get his Blonde internet release). It’s good to hear his voice is still great. I guess the true test will be his next full commercial album release.

What have we seen this week ?

Movie : A Quiet Passion : A gorgeous portrait of American poet Emily Dickinson who died in 1886. Her life was very strict, religious, she lived all her life with her parents and didn’t marry, but managed to write some very moving poetry. It’s stars Cynthia Nixon who deserves at least an Oscar nomination. A slow moving but intense docu-drama. Recommended for fans of this type of thing.
