Welcome to another hour of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / remix flava and an emphasis on GLBTIQ content/artists.

This week we are all GLBTI artists, from RuPaul to Steve Grand and all the varieties inbetween.

My Song Of The Week is ‘We Got Us’ by Jamal Lyon (aka Jussie Smollett). This is a track from Season 3 of Empire, the hip hop TV show, starring Jussie Smollett, the gay brother (also gay in real life). Jussie sings on 6 of the 15 songs on the soundtrack CD. He has a great voice, looks good, and seems to be a lovely person. He is apparently working on a solo album, which I for one am very looking forward to.

What have we seen this week ?

Show : Aladdin : Is this the campest show in Melbourne at the moment? I think the answer is yes, and the audience were loving it. It’s over the top gay from beginning to end, 30 costumes, most of them with sequins, a ton of glitter, and zero % body fat on any of the actors (as per the Genie). It’s fun from beginning to end.
