Welcome to another hour of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / remix flava and an emphasis on GLBTI content/artists. More great songs this week, and most with GLBT content. A superlative collection, even if I do say so myself.

My Song Of The Week is ‘Mystery of love’ by American indie singer Sufjan Stevens.

This is the lead track from the LGBT movie ‘Call me by your name’, and Sufjan has contributed some new tracks. He’s not an artist I’ve followed in the past, but I love the songs he has done for the film, so I’m now a convert. I’m looking forward to the film – see trailer below.

What have we seen this week ?

Film : The Man Who Invented Christmas : Another lovely film to take Mum/Nan . It’s all about how Charles Dickens got over his writers block and wrote A Christmas Carol. The characters come to life and almost write the story, but it’s all beautifully done, well acted, and don’t we all need a little good Christmas cheer at this time of year, and a reminder to think about other people for a change ???
