Born 31/12/1948, died 17/5/2012 from lung cancer, which she attributed to the 9/11 dust and smoke etc. Now immortalised in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical on Broadway, which I highly recommend, having seen it when it opened in March 2018.
The podcast was broadcast initially on JOY 94.9 on 26th May 2018.
