Welcome to another season of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a fresh pop sound and mostly GLBTI artists. Tonight all the tracks have GLBTI content.

TRACK OF THE WEEK : MNEK with Crazy World.

This UK gay is such a stunning new artist. His new album Language is brilliant. I could say that about most of the artists tonight, and I’m so proud to say that they are all part of our GLBTI family. But this week, the track is from MNEK. Just a wonderful, uplifting and an intelligent song. He really has something important to say.

What Have I Seen Recently ?

Film : Can You Ever Forgive Me? : A great film starring Melissa McCarthy and Richard E Grant, about a not very sympathetic author on the skids, who gets into forging ephemera from name authors. Needless to say not all goes well, but it is a nice to see a non-slapstick movie from Melissa, and she and Richard E Grant act up a storm, coincidentally as lesbian and gay characters. Highly rated by me.

Film : The Nutcracker & The Four Realms : Not exactly the Tchaikowsky Christmas ballet, more a Lord Of The Rings fantasy adventure, but lots of fun, with a strong female character. But the Tchaikowsky music does play in the background, and the final titles have ballet number, so it’s a win-win. A lovely looking Disney film.
