A whole load of old faithful’s tonight including the Pet Shop Boys, Kristine W, Tegan and Sara, Tight Fit, Adele, plus some great covers and a lotta gay boys.

I am particularly excited because Take That are doing vocals on the new Sigma song ‘Cry’, so it’s another opportunity to see these gorgeous men again, and the Pet Shop Boys have a more laid back track, and very nice it is too.

To keep you up to date there are new albums from Tegan and Sara (Love You To Death), Tight Fit (Together) a collection of their hits remixed plus a few new’ish tracks – see picture below)

My Song Of The Week is “Out There” from Kristine W, a full on catchy house anthem if I ever I heard. She’s been around singing since 1994, she’s had 7 albums released, and more hits on the American dance charts than you’ve had hot dinners. But still she doesn’t seem to get the popularity here in Australia. So check her the song below (audio only).

What have we seen around town this week ?

Film : Hunt For The Wilder People : Sam Neil and his wife become forster parents to a young lad, played by Julian Dennison, and end up on the run from the authorities for various reasons, but it is a wonderful comedy set in some amazing New Zealand countryside. All the cast are great but particularly the leads, and Sam Neil excels in a part you don’t often see him in. Excellent.
