New CD’s : A great new country/pop CD from case/lang/veirs (Neko, kd and Laura on a once in a lifetime collaboration), Beverley Knight does a great soul covers set on Soulsville, Air has a great 20^th Anniversary compilatio, and finally, Ngaiire’s Blastoma electro-soul album is amazing.

My Song Of The Week is “Trash” from Neon Trees singer Tyler Glenn (see above). A rather strange song and video, but he’s a gay and he’s making a comment on the mormons, which church he was brought up in. So there … give it a go below.

What have we seen around town this week ?

Film : Alice Through The Looking Glass : A second outing from Burton/Depp in this child’s fantasy land. The effects and makeup/costumes are amazing, the storyline slightly confusing at times, but there’s a good back story to the Queen Of Hearts. Overall, very entertaining for fans of this fantasy genre.

Film : God Willing : Light entertainment from Italy, probably more suited to the TV, but a fun situation when an atheist/surgeon’s son decides to become a priest. Much hilarity ensues. Not the best movie I’ve seen this yar, but not the worst either.
