My Song Of The Week is “Brooklyn” by Longfellow. They are a 5-piece London emotive.alt.pop band, and every now and then I like a bit of alt.pop. They sound good, look good, and write a good tune. I couldn’t find a video for their latest track, Brooklyn, but Where I Belong is pretty good too. See below.

What I’ve seen this week …

FILM : Their Finest : Lovely film set in 1940 London, about the production of propaganda films by the Government. Specifically it a is about a young woman who finds herself getting a job as a scriptwriter, then advising on the filming of that script. It’s beautifully photographed, the acting is wonderful, Bill Nihy in particular, and great story with a love sub plot. Everything one could want. Excellent.
