Welcome to another hour of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / remix flava and an emphasis on GLBTIQ content/artists, and this week we are mostly gay artists, plus a couple of tracks from our indigenous artists to celebrate Naidoc week..

This week I particularly like the new tracks from Adam Lambert (a very out there anthem), Peter Wilson (because too much 80’s sound is never enough), and marvellous covers from Bent Collective, Ross Alexander and Toy Armada.

My Song Of The Week Has To Be – Two Fux from Adam Lambert. Along with Frankie Grande’s ‘Queen’, this is another great glam guitar anthem. The sort of song you want to walk down the street singing.

What have we seen this week ?

Movie : Rough Night : I love to see girls behaving badly, and this bridal shower party that goes wrong when the male stripper gets accidentally killed, and then proceeds to get worse, is very funny but classy, mainly because of Scarlett Johannson’s presence. The Australian character is also very funny and almost steals the show. A guilty pleasure.

Movie : National Theatre Live : Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead : Starring Daniel Radcliffe and Joshua McGuire as the duo from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The play is constructed around these two characters, speculating on a plot about their existence. Hard to describe but wonderfully written, very funny and a brilliant study on the meaning of life.
