Welcome to another hour of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / remix flava and an emphasis on GLBTI content/artists. Tonight eight of the tracks have LGBTI content.

My Song Of The Week is ‘Till I’m Done’ from Paloma Faith. The second single from new CD The Architect, such a great should voice, and a catchy r&b tune.

What have we seen this week ?

FILM : I, Tonya : Was it true? Did she really knee-cap her skating rival for the 1996 Olympics. This film doesn’t really answer any of those questions definitively, but it makes for an exciting film based on real events. There people are so bad, but it makes for a great film.

FILM : Sweet Country : Sort of an Aussie western, recounting the true story of the capture and trial of an aboriginal man who killed a white man. The film covers what really happened, and is a very moving and sometimes hard to watch spectacle. Should be essential viewing.

FILM : The Shape Of Water : For those who love a romantic love story, this is one for you, if a little unusual. It concerns an aqua-type man captured from the Amazon and Brough to the American authorities for study. A mute cleaning lady befriends the chained creature and a strange love story ensues. Beautiful filmed and a very moving story.
