Ben and Bryce are The Bean Project and they jumped in the Back Seat to help celebrate National Youth Week.
The Belgrave-based duo got together early last year after having played together in other acts and individually. With Ben on guitar and Bryce on French horn, the lads entered this year’s FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands against 300 other Victorian bands… and won.
Simon and Michael chatted to them about their journey to Battle of the Bands winners and what they’ve learnt along the way.
Ben and Bryce even performed two songs – an original (which is still without a name) and a cover of Johnny Cash’s Ring of Fire.
You can see them at some upcoming gigs and look out for their EP coming in May. For all the details, like them on Facebook: www.facebook.com/thebeanproject
