International Jazz Jam – Melbourne Style!

Arts, Music, Performing Arts

Melbourne, the Jazz Capital of Australia, celebrates on International Jazz Day – April 30, 2018, with a Jazz Jam at the Paris Cat Jazz Club –  a celebration of raw energy!

Nikos Fotakis gained his love of Jazz in his homeland of Greece, and has brought this love to Australia, taking on the role of Editor of Australianjazz.net, and this year organising the Jazz Jam as an opportunity for musicians to get together and have fun, creating new music to celebrate with the whole world, this 7th International Jazz Day.

Hear what Nikos had to say about the Jam, and where it sits in this year’s International celebration, featuring the House Trio for the night of Adam Rudegair (Keys), Clair Cross (Bass), and Adam Donaldson (Drums)

For more details about the Jam, listen to the JOYcast and checkout The Paris Cat website

Nikos Fotakis was guest on Bent Notes on Sunday April 29, 2018.
