Melbourne based Jazz Vocalist Michelle Nicolle visited the Bent Notes Studio to chat with David Moyle about her BACH Project.
Revisiting the Classical World, where Michelle started her musical journey, she has found a means of bringing the Classical Music of Bach into the world of Jazz, using a Jazz approach to interpreting the music of J. S. Bach.
Commenced as a commission for the Bach Festival in Adelaide in 2014, Michelle’s Bach Project gets a new airing at the Melbourne Recital Centre at 7 o’clock on Saturday June 23, before moving the project into the recording studio.
Michelle Nicolle was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday June 17, 2018, where she met Rex, our cute programme puppy.
