The Phileas Fogg Trio are musicians from “Around The World” who love the idea of their touring the world in 80 jazzy days!
Andreana Micanova (Macedonia), Dan Seddon (England) and Philippe Castermane (France) visited the Bent Notes studio at JOY 94.9 to chat about combining their love for the classic jazz repertoire with European romanticism. Whilst in-studio they also spoke about their “Desert Island Discs” in response to a question from a listener.
Their first album was inspired by the music of Thelonious Monk and their brand new album, Prelude, explores the timeless songbook of Duke Ellington.
The Phileas Fogg Trio are performing in the Pinsent Hotel at this years Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues on Saturday November 3, 2018.
