Song Appetit – Simmons & Garosi

You have heard it said that a musician must play for their supper – The Boite put those words into action with a series of musical experiences where the musicians will sit down with you, the audience, to talk and eat, as well as providing the musical entertainment.

Adam Simmons (Saxophonist) and Eyal Chipkiewicz (The Boite) spoke with David Moyle about this series of intimate entertainments where Adam and Alessandra Garosi (Pianist – Italy) collaborate in the first event in the series.

The Boite is Victoria’s multicultural music organisation founded in 1979. It supports artists from diverse cultural communities, promotes cultural understanding through the dynamic presentation of unique cultural experiences, and nurtures creativity, collaboration, access to and active participation in the arts.

Hear about The Boite and the 1st in this series of Song Appetit (6:30pm Wednesday October 30, The Cylde Hotel, Carlton) direct from Eyal and Adam in this JOYcast.

Adam Simmons and Eyal Chipkiewicz were guests of Bent Notes on Sunday October 20, 2019
