The Tim Stevens Trio has released their 5th album, a collection of 10 pieces composed by Tim during 2016, when he composed 1 piece everyday – a total of 366 pieces. The Album is called “There’ll be Some Changes Played” reflecting the musical “changes” that occur whilst the trio are playing.
Tim Stevens spoke with David Moyle about the joy of playing with the trio, their ability to almost know what each other is going to do when they are improvising together, and his series of Quarantunes released on Facebook earlier this year during Melbourne’s first round of COVID isolations.
Tim has released 14 albums over the years which are available on bandcamp.
Tim Stevens was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday July 12, 2020
