Guitarist Fran Swinn will take her Quintet on stage at this years Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues to launch her new album – Old Idea/New Idea.
Fran recalls her early memories of music and when she realised that music was to be her career, in this podcast from Bent Notes on JOY 94.9.
Fran also chats about the challenges that students face when they take on formal musical training towards a career in music and the need for them to focus on really digesting the music that has gone before them.
