Angela Davis spoke about her affinity for melody in her composition and performance when she spoke with David Moyle on Bent Notes.
Angela also chatted about her latest work – SUITE FOR MAX, composed as part of the ABC Fresh Start commission and inspired by her experiences as a new mother.
Angela will be performing the work with bass player, Sam Anning, guitarist Stephen Magnusson and drummer Patrick Danao at this year’s Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues on Saturday October 29, 2022.
