Checkpoint Intimates is a weekly podcast where two members of the team go one-on-one on a topic that they both feel strongly about, talking in a more deeper and, yes, intimate context.

This week on the show, we’ve just had our awesome Game of the Year 2017 countdown episode where we counted down our picks for the best games of the year. But this list was very difficult to come to, and there were plenty of games that just missed out as runners-up that we feel like deserve a mention as well.

Elliot and Cam are on board to discuss six specific games, the ones that narrowly missed a place in our top 10, and break down what makes them so special! They might not have made our list, but they definitely could have if there was just one more vote thrown their way. What are your thoughts? What games do you think should have made the list?
