This week on the show, we’re scared and excited, as we talk about MONSTERS! Yes, monsters are a huge part of video game culture, whether you love them or hate them. Sometimes super scary in horror games, other times absolutely adorable in JRPGs and then in some extreme cases… they’re a bit sexy!?

Join Luke, Elliot, Cam and Edie as the talk about what defines a monster, what they have the ability to add to video game stories and how they impact narratives! We also talk about some of our favourite monsters, discuss the importance of having them in specific genres, zombies forming their own genre altogether, how monsters can work in a psychological context and more.
