Checkpoint Intimates is a weekly podcast where two members of the team go one-on-one on a topic that they both feel strongly about, talking in a more deeper and, yes, intimate context.

This week, Cameron and Elliot talk politics, I know I’m surprised about it as well. Specifically the larger than life character Clive Palmer. A business man that got into politics he has recently revealed a mobile game releasing soon called “Clive Palmber: Humble Meme Merchant”.

The boys break down what to expect from this foreseeable train wreck. However what starts as a laugh about Clive’s interest in Titanic 2 and his very own Jurassic Park turns to a deluge of frustration. Watch as the light hearted nature of Cameron turns to heated anger about the joke this makes of our political system. Meanwhile Elliot grasps for any floatation device in the shape of hope that there is some self awareness behind this tone deaf move.
