Checkpoint Intimates is a weekly podcast where two members of the team go one-on-one on a topic that they both feel strongly about, talking in a more deeper and, yes, intimate context.

This week, Luke and Elliot breakdown some of the titles that were almost included in our countdown of games of the year. After the entire team voted we had our top 10, but some games just missed out like Death Stranding and Devil May Cry 5. So let’s raise a glass to them and highlight why they were still a wildly popular release this year but just not enough to be games of the year.
