Playwright Katy Warner & Pride Cup Pioneer Jason Ball

Katy Warner chats about her new play Spencer with Bec, Bree and Danae & Jason Ball calls in to talk about the 4th annual LGBTIQ Pride Cup to be played this weekend. The Chicks discover the 2017 International Cup is to be played in Melbourne in August and share some of the great names for footy clubs across the globe. And yes, that was Essendon’s Tim Watson – Ruby (Don’t Take Your Love to Town): Footy Favourites, 1981.

The Pride Cup is on again, Sunday 7th May, celebrating diversity and inclusion. In 2017 Yarra Glen will take on Yea, Preliminary Finalists in 2016. Special guests include AFL stars from St Kilda FC, Peter Hitchener (Channel 9 News) and Bonnie Anderson (Australia’s Got Talent). Games start at 8.45am with the main game staring at 2.10pm.
