It’s Footy Christmas, but not as we know it

It’s AFL Grand Final week and the big game between Geelong and Richmond will be held two states away from the G in Brisbane. Things are most certainly different this year but like all footy followers we will still watch the game, eat pies and celebrate. Because it’s what we do.

The Chicks Talking Footy picnic in the MCG car-park on Grand Final day isn’t going to happen, but as soon as we can we will be meeting and talking about – you guessed it – footy.

Richmond President Peggy O’Neal had a chat with us about the rise of the club over the years and how they have managed the strangeness of 2020. Super Cat Dave Beckett and our resident Tiger Breeza dissected the Grand Final, Fi and Motty are simply looking forward to 2021 when the Bombers and the Hawks will rise again.
