Today Jodie Willmer and Greg Adkins were delighted to have Kate Martin @ContempArtXchge
in Edinburgh join them in the studio with photographer, Andrew Follows. Kate is an Australian freelance curator and arts educator, based in Edinburgh. Contemporary Art Exchange is the umbrella name for all the creative activity she gets up to. Andrew Follows has previously joined the “Detours” team and today discusses his forthcoming trip and exhibitions in collaboration with Kate. Andrew is not just a brilliant photographer but is blind and regularly becomes the subject as others photograph him, his white cane and companion and guide-dog Eamon. “Detours” has returned return for 2012 and can be heard live to-air at 12 noon each Saturday on JOY 94.9
