Fertile Films produces commissioned films mostly for not-for-profit organisations and government as well as developing projects for television. Proprietor Sarah Barton has a particular interest in making films that advance the rights of people with disabilities.
In 2010 Fertile Films’ proprietor Sarah Barton was awarded a prestigious Churchill Fellowship. In September and October travelled to the United Kingdom, Geneva and the United States to research and record interviews for a documentary about the history of the disability rights movement.
