If you ever watched “Hey Hey It’s Saturday” in the 90s, you would most likely remember Raymond J. Bartholemeuz – the laureate poet who was a weekly guest on the show after winning Red Faces. Well that man is Brian Nankervis and he’s also known these days as being the creator of RockWiz, host of “Pictures Of You” and now he can add to the list, guest of Dolly Diamond on To Hell In A Handbasket.
He spoke about growing up in Melbourne, his early days of comedy at The Last Laugh, Let The Blood Run Free and tried to throw out three things he didn’t want anymore:
- Mobile phones at performances
- Australians’ sense of fear
- Toasted Museli
Did they go or did they stay?
The only way to find out is to listen to the podcast, with extra unheard audio which reveals that Brian was once a member of a very famous band !
Brian is also a part of The Heart Of St Kilda concert, being held on Wednesday August 13th at the Palais Theatre in St Kilda to raise funds for the Sacred Heart Mission and their Meals Program.
Also appearing are people like Julia Morris, Charlie Pickering, Tripod, Vika And Linda Bull (THIAH guests!), Elliot Goblet and many more.
