In Part 2 of this episode of For One Night Only (FONO), Pete Holmes continues talking to his fantabulous guest co-host, Peter de Groot about the mixtape and the story of his life so far. Peter is an out proud presenter on JOY Daytimes and The Cabaret Room. He started life as a closeted fundamentalist Christian and we explore the self-hatred that he was left with through his formative years and his coming out as an out proud gay man. One of his greatest achievements was to help in convincing the state government to extinguish and expunge historical gay sex convictions. His mixtape covers a wide range of music and includes Dolly Parton, The Seekers, ABBA, Doris Day, Amy Grant, Madonna, Diana Ross, Scissor Sisters, Billy Porter, and many, many more.
