Midsumma starts on Sunday 17 Jan. with Carnival. The brilliant jam-packed program runs through until 7 Feb.
Music in the final hour reflects that happy Midsumma feeling – after paying tribute to David Bowie.

Director Terence O’Connell fills us in on the latest in musical theatre, Thrill Me: the Leopold & Loeb Story based on the true story of a thrill killing in Chicago during the prohibition era. It’s a Midsumma event at Chapel Off Chapel, 20-31 Jan.

Newly minted Midsumma Chair John Caldwell is in the studio enthusing about all things Midsumma. Check the Midsumma program online or pick up a paper copy around town.

It’s election year. Enrol and vote, people! Senate hopeful Jason Tuazon-McCheyne is stuck in traffic so he phones in. He’ll be at Carnival all day at the Australian Equality Party stall. And he’s looking forward to partying until late at the Purple Party at the GH Hotel on 22 Jan.
