INTERVIEW: Jamie Burgess on his latest Melbourne Cabaret Festival show with Justin Clausen “I’m Every Woman”

David and special guest host Dolly Diamond (Artistic Director of the Melbourne Cabaret Festival) talk to Jamie Burgess about his show with Justin Clausen which is called “I’m Every Woman“. The show is part of the Melbourne Cabaret Festival and is on from 26 to 30 June at Chapel off Chapel, 12 Little Chapel St, Prahran. The Melbourne Cabaret Festival runs from 19th June until 1st July 2018 and you can book tickets at their website or at the Chapel off Chapel website. Justin Clausen’s powerhouse vocals (heard in Green Room Award nominated ‘The Lady is a Tramp’ alongside Dolly Diamond) take on some of the best songs made famous by some of our favourite ladies, with Piano Bar Genius last seen entertaining aboard the Pacific Dawn, Jamie Burgess (who also appeared here at Chapel Off Chapel with Amity Dry in ’39 Forever’ in MICF) at the piano.

Featuring songs such as ‘My Heart Will Go On’, ‘River Deep, Mountain High’, ‘Proud Mary’, ‘I Know Him So Well’, ‘Show Me Heaven’, ‘Hero’ and ‘Halo’. Grab a beer or bubbles, and settle in for an hour of power ballads, party songs and Proud Mary’s… and keep an eye out for guest appearances from Cher and Celine Dion!
