David & Sue talk to Amy Bennett, Creative Learning Producer at Arts Centre Melbourne about The Australian Music Vault Choir Project which arranges Australian music for school and community choirs in order to get more people singing great music!
You can request an arrangement of iconic Australian music which can be used by your school or community choir. There are many songs from artists including Crowded House, Hunters & Collectors, Birds of Tokyo, Paul Kelly, Killing Heidi, Sia, The Seekers, Archie Roach, Gordi, Missy Higgins, Emily Wurramara and many others. The Australian Music Vault is a celebration of the Australian contemporary music story – past, present and future. The permanent exhibition is now open at Arts Centre Melbourne. Created in collaboration with the music industry, it features a free, permanent exhibition, interactive and digital experiences, iconic objects from Arts Centre Melbourne’s Australian Performing Arts Collection and an ongoing calendar of live performances, education programs and public events.
