Singing in the White House

Playwright Joanna Murray-Smith, director Simon Phillips and actor Bernadette Robinson team up once again for Pennsylvania Avenue, a brilliant new music theatre work.
Bernadette chats with David and Sue about her latest turn on the boards playing a (fictional!) character who worked in the White House entertainment department during the era of some legendary performers including Marilyn Monroe and Barbra Streisand.
Pennsylvania Avenue is on at the Playhouse until Feb.14 then moving on to Brisbane and Sydney.
