Meet Melbourne’s Newest Bear – Christopher Banks

Christopher Banks comes across as a somewhat unassuming individual at first, but scratch beneath the surface and a complex, intelligent and engaging commentator emerges. Wise beyond his years, Chris writes a very popular blog http://bipolarbear.co.nz/ and has no hesitation in ruffling the feathers of various organisations throughout his musings. Chris’ latest movie “Men Like Us” is a revealing documentary profiling the lives of nine New Zealand gay men aged 24 through 78. The film highlights their continuing struggle for everyday happiness in a straight man’s world. Following a couple of visits to Melbourne, Chris has recently chosen to call it home.
