II	Alan Walker / Ava Max	The follow up to Norwegian Alan Walker’s smash Alone has required a team up with IN THE STUDIO’s favourite Ava Max – and what a sequel this is to the first track which was released back in 2016. Ava is also releasing new music starting with Salt which we played last year, and another single this week On Somebody which is a more mellow song. Great if you want to belt out a few notes in the shower!
Hold On (feat Michel Zitron)	Martin Garrix / Matisse & Sadko	Martin Garrix was voted #1 DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 three consecutive years. Things don’t look like they’re slowing down for him either, as he recently hinted at a Zedd collaboration. Garrix and Matisse slash Sadko have been working on collabs for a long time now – so it seemed only fitting to take out the new year with a final collab much to my delight. This is a festival banger – and really progressive too.
