The final Monday of the month means talking HIV with our regular expert, Dr. Clovis Palmer from the Burnet Institute. He told the team all about leaky gut syndrome, leading to a discussion about faecal transplants.
Yep, gross, but apparently useful.
The team was also lucky enough to have Paul Kidd, chair of the Living Positive HIV Legal Working Group, drive down from central Victoria to tell us about the progress towards the Victorian government changing section 19A of the Crimes Acts that currently criminalises people intentionally passing on the HIV virus.
Paul explained why the law has got to go, and Steph demonstrated her lack of knowledge about Justin Bieber.
Aired on 27th of April, 2015.
