Tonight, the team spoke with Nigerian-American artist and LGBTI activist Adejoke Tugbiyele, about the Nigerian situation with the LGBTI community. There is a lot to be done there and Nigeria needs our support.
Adejoke uses her art to raise awareness, which is represented by the Goldman Gallery in New York and the October Gallery in London. She recently had a major work entitled Hungry, Homeless Homo acquired by the Brooklyn Museum of Art (not to mention a great hairdo).
Aired on 29th of June, 2015.
