To-dabour-day is Labour Day, as Karen Field joins the ISN crew for some thorny questions relating to domestic abuse in the LGBT community, continuing from a previous debate.
Chief Executive of the Drummond St. Institute, Karen explain what her service curtails and the age groups and programs she helps out with. Karen is also quizzed as to why a special support service for families is an important requirement and how beneficiary it would be.
Resuming the two-part special on family violence, Steph presents an early morning interview she did with La Trobe student Bianca Filaborne, addressing the perceptions and myths that LGBT relations have. Bianca adds to the conversation with the hostility she had faced and how her experience advocates her campaigns.
Finally, Jim and Steph conclude a pre-recorded interview that they did with Khia Noonan, about signs that point to an abuse relationship.
Aired on the 14th of March, 2016.
