Another not-very-cheerful show but with cause for optimism, as the ISN team tackles the issue of street violence against LGBTIQ people.
Dr. Bianca Fileborn from LaTrobe University has found in her research around street violence that LGBTIQ people were over-represented, as she chats with Steph about the responses that people who had experienced violence want to see.
On a similar note, Greg Adkins – Executive Director of the Anti-Violence Project – has been tackling this issue for exactly twenty years.
He points the finger at those who have helped and hindered community safety in the last two decades, as well as providing important advice for the community as we risk heading towards a possible marriage plebiscite.
