James Lolicato has recently finished up his time as the CEO of Pride Cup, and he was also the Founder of Proud 2 Play which encourages inclusion in sport for LGBTIQ+ community, we take stock of his years growing Pride Cup and the inclusion & diversity on and off the field that comes with that.
Later in the show we welcomed Bridie Murphy from Melbourne Uni’s Women’s Football Club, also known as the Muggers. On the weekend the Muggers got amongst the action yesterday for their club’s open training session for Trans and Gender Diverse people. We find out why this was so important and what it takes to create space for everyone in sport.
