How we change the housing crisis debate with Max Chandler-Mather

Over the past couple of weeks, we have shared rental stories on JOY Breakfast, as we looked whether the proposed federal budget is actually helping those that need it, as well as some rental nightmares, where people discovered that the real estate agents were playing tenants and landlords off against each other. 

As we’ve moved forward from the global pandemic of the past few years, the realities of what exactly is affordable housing has come to the forefront of many conversations, including on the political arena. 

Max Chandler-Mather is the Greens Member for Griffith in QLD, and is at the centre of a heated national debate about housing, specifically in reference to a 20-hectare parcel of Brisbane land known as Bulimba Barracks, which is been slated for development – and joined Rach & Dean to discuss this.
