International Pronouns Day is acknowledged every year on the third Wednesday of October.
The day seeks to make respecting and sharing personal pronouns commonplace, because referring to people by their chosen pronouns is really just a basic human dignity.
Now, there’s a lot of pronouns people use – He and She, neo-pronouns such as Zee, and of course, they, them, and theirs, so Rach & Dean got Rudy Jean Rigg from Rainbow History Class to come on JOY Breakfast and break down the history of the pronoun!
Catch Rainbow History Class at Melbourne Fringe – details here.
