India’s Supreme Court heard petitions seeking to legalise same sex marriage earlier this year, but this week India’s Supreme Court declined to legalise same-sex marriage which disappointed millions of LGBTQ+ couples and activists.
LGBTQ+ rights have expanded in India but the Chief Justice called for Parliament and state legislatures to determine the laws of marriage, so this morning on JOY Breakfast we are joined by Darshil, to help us understand what this means.
