Not long till Out in the Open brings pride to Shepparton

Pride is set to dazzle and excite in Greater Shepparton with Goulburn Valley Pride this years as OUTintheOPEN Festival shines a rainbow this November.

Celebrating LGBTIQA+ pride and community diversity in all its forms, the festival includes an array of events for all ages and interests from the 10th – 19th November across the Goulburn Valley.

Cris Stevens-Todd joined Rach and Dean for a Regional Round up of some of the exciting events topping and tailing this years festival.

Event Masquerade at the Museum
Details opening night gala event, Masquerade at the Museum! Dress to impress as we welcome in the next #oito festival together and celebrate pride and community diversity across the Goulburn Valley whilst taking in the beauty that is the Victoria Park Lake at sunset. ✨

Be entertained throughout the night by the talented Polly Filla, Frock Hudson and Tom Nethersole as you enjoy a night of fun, connection, and celebration. Grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the wonderful delights served by the Elsewhere at SAM team whilst you take in the sights from level four.

Event Q+ Pride Pop-Up
Details This is a day-to-night, drop-in, outdoor event that welcomes the whole rainbow community and their allies. No booking is necessary, just drop by.

Grab a drink and wander into our queer oasis take in some sweet beats from our lineup of queer DJ’s, watch the mural artist at work  catch some queer cinema , a pop up performance , check out our dance party “Disco Queer”  wander through our queer exhibitions , decorate yourself at our Glitter station and leave a message for the queer community of Shepp

Event GLOBE Victoria Regional Networking
Details GLOBE Victoria events are a great way to meet other likeminded people, expand your professional network and support the LGBTIQ+ communities in a casual social atmosphere.

canapes to be served throughout the evening (including vegan & gluten free options) and there will also be a cash bar.

You will also have the chance to enjoy our optional ‘Focused Networking’ sessions, which we will be running twice on the night starting at 7pm and 8pm. These sessions allow for a more direct interaction, speed networking and business profiling engagement.

Alternatively you can socialise in the main room and enjoy the laid back feel and great conversation during the evening.

Details GLOW are bringing classic roller disco back to OUTintheOPEN Festival in Shepparton!

 

🌈 All ages and all skill levels are welcome.

🌈 Three sessions: family-friendly 4-6pm and 6-8pm; adults only 8-10pm.

🌈 This time we’ll be skating out at MOVE at Emerald Bank, Kialla!

Pre-purchase tickets HERE to avoid queues at the door: $25pp (skate hire included OR BYO skates) and $5pp for non-skater spectators there to support or supervise.

There is 275 parking spots in front car-park at Emerald Bank. Access GLOW Roller Disco via pathway between Milestone and the Windmil
