The Importance of World AIDS Day

Today is World AIDS Day, a day to show support for people living with HIV, raise awareness about prevention, treatment and care, eliminate stigma and discrimination around HIV and to remember people who have died of AIDS-related illnesses.

So to celebrate this important and educational event, Tex McKenzie from Thorne Harbour Health spoke to the JOY Breakfast team about raising awareness of his medical issue and the World AIDS Day Memorial.

You can learn more about the World AIDS Day Memorial over on the Thorne Harbour website.
