After learning that many elderly queer people feel they have to go back into the closet as they get older, journalist Julie Peters decided to find out why.

Is it because so many retirement homes being run by faith based groups, is it because generationally their pride looks different to today, or is it just that we haven’t thought of it.

Peters recently investigated the limited options for LGBTQIA+ seniors in a special episode of Compass, and joined Rach and Dean to discuss that further.
