This Friday is IDAHOBIT Day and many events happening across regional Victoria.
Cris Stevens-Tood took Dean & Rach through all that’s on offer for our regional LGBTQIA+ communities.
Echuca : Flag raising and speeches
Organised by the Campaspe Shire and in collaboration with Echuca Moama Pride.
Some sweet treats will be provided so grab a coffee from one of the nearby cafes on the way to enjoy while you’re there. Come along to show your support for the LGBTQIA+ community. Everyone is welcome.
If your in town when the sun goes down Council will also mark the day by illuminating the Echuca office in rainbow colours as the sun goes down.

Ballarat : Afternoon Tea
The City of Ballarat invites you to join us for an afternoon tea to recognise IDAHOBIT
the Rainbow Progress flag will be flying over Ballarat all day and our afternoon tea event will have speakers from the community.

City of Greater Bendigo is hosting an flag raising event in the Bendigo Library Gardens to mark the 2024 International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) 🏳️🌈
IDAHOBIT Day marks the anniversary of when the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the classification of diseases and related health problems in 1990.
