The Arizona Coyotes and Los Angeles Kings played the first NHL ice hockey game in the Southern Hemisphere on the weekend, but it didn’t feel like the first time with a sellout crowd of 13,097 people. These included players and supporters from The Southern Lights, Australia’s first LGBT+ Ice Hockey Club.
Kade from Australian LGBT Ice Hockey joined Jayden and Dean to recap the importance of this game, and celebrate the rise of inclusion down under in ice hockey and celebrate the diversity.
