Here at JOY Breakfast we love to celebrate and elevate trans voices, and put them in the spotlight so we diealed the UK and decided to talk about a new play coming to Melbourne in 2024 – Overflow, by one of the UK’s most prominent trans voices – artist and writer, Travis Alabanza.
Overflow is the story of Rosie, a young trans woman who is cornered into a flooding toilet cubicle, and is determined not to be rescued again.
Performed in Melbourne early next year, the director of Overflow Dino Dimitriadis joined Rach & Dean to tell them all about it.
Tickets are available NOW to see Overflow during Midsumma at Arts Centre Melbourne – find out more here.
