It’s not just humans that enjoy really good smells. Animals do too.
That’s why Werribee Zoo has opened up its latest garden full of aromatic plants and herbs, as a way to introduce and record captivating sensory and cognitive challenges for the animals sparking an array of fascinating and curious natural behaviours.
Zoos Victoria’s Animal Behaviour Specialist, Sue Jaensch spoke to the JOY Breakfast team so we could learn more about this latest animal learning experience.
